Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

We are looking for talented instructional designers/trainers who are ready for a challenging, rewarding, and long-term engagement! As the instructional designer/trainer, you will collaborate with our client to design and develop computer based learning modules through course development software and the learning management system. The goal of this position is to help our client facilitate its employees in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Help the client and subject matter experts to identify training needs
  • Design and develop instructor-led, blended, and online learning programs that are SCORM/AICC compliant
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content
  • Suggest and develop exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, end user manuals, job aids, training guides, etc.)
  • Help the client decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain course folders and project documentation (i.e., editing, standardizing, creating drawings and diagrams, and maintaining track of revisions, etc.)
  • Identify improvements to design processes and quality control procedures; work with client to affect change

Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience with instructional design, educational technology or similar
  • SCORM 1.2/2004 certified and AICC compliant development
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology with adult learning
  • Excellent lesson and curriculum design and planning skills
  • Knowledge of course development software (e.g., Captivate, Articulate, etc.) and at least one Learning Management System (experience with NetDimensions Talent Suite is a plus)
  • Ability to create and edit videos, voiceovers, and general audio in Storyline or similar development software
  • Exposure and familiarity with general accessibility
  • Experience with creating training courses for software such as Excel, Taleo, Oracle ERP, and other packaged software
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
