Job Summary

Salesforce – Team Lead/Senior Business Analyst (SBA) is responsible for the research, analysis, design, architectural approach and documentation of solutions and resolutions to work request from the various business units utilizing the Salesforce Platform. As part of Information Technology, the individual will converse regularly with managers of various business units, subject matter experts, and where applicable vendors to document business requirements and develop functional specifications.

 

This role requires a high level of contribution to strategic projects, providing subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of mission critical applications. Often asked to drive or participate in major design and architectural decisions.
This individual will be asked to manage all Salesforce projects, reporting to the relevant Portfolio Manager/Demand Manager, as well as participate in projects as a subject matter expert.

Job Description

  • Deliver subject matter expertise for Salesforce solutions
  • Design technical solutions for Salesforce Applications
  • Team lead of the Salesforce technical team
  • Leverage holistic understanding of business and system process flows, performs as a subject matter expert on major strategic projects
  • Contribute at a high level in various teams and committees to make strategic design and architectural decision for the Salesforce Platform
  • Research, understand, and document business requirements and industry trends
  • Perform the critical thought necessary to model solutions that meet the stated functional requirements
  • Create functional specifications and presenting proposed solutions to senior management
  • Manage the creation of test plans, deployment plans, and user documentation
  • Participate within large project teams as well as drive projects/initiatives
  • Document current state and future state business process work flows
  • Interface with Manage Maintenance team to assist with the scheduling and prioritization of development and support efforts
  • Interface and coordinate with Infrastructure team to assist with the scheduling and prioritization of work requests and project related tasks.
  • Develop strong functional product knowledge of applications utilized by various business units
  • Participate in the support and maintenance of applications
  • Assist with the managing of relationships with third-party vendors in terms application support, in coordination with Portfolio Manager/Demand Manager
  • Communicate project status to Portfolio Manager and senior management
  • Conform to IT Risk Management policies and procedures and provide appropriate deliverables within scheduled deadlines
  • Assist with application support in coordination with business analysis and managed maintenance team
  • Provide functional support for applications leveraging knowledge of appropriate business domain

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce Platform with a detail understanding of the technical archecture, Salesforce structure and Salesforce Administration
  • Over 5 years experience implementing and supporting Salesforce applications including CRM, Forms, workflow applications and communities
  • Over 5 years experience commercal banking solutions utilizing Salesforce for CRM.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business process flows, and banking best practices
  • Ability to effectively drive the design and delivery of solutions, as well as participate and collaborate within stategic committees
  • In-depth knowledge of PMI and Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Ability to manage risk register and mitigation plans
  • Ability to develop and manage project plans
  • Clear understanding of project cost management and business analysis approaches
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Engeineering, Economics, Accounting, Finance or business related field
  • Working knowledge of business activity and processes of the area supported by team
  • Profeciency with Visio, MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
  • Experience with documenting process flows
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort working with and supporting a senior management team
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a creative flexable approach to problem solving
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution
