Statewide Investigations Information Management System (SIIMS)
Pursuant to Article 2, Title 2-A, Section 230 of the Public Health Law, the Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) is responsible for the collection and management of all professional misconduct complaints filed against physicians, physician assistants, and specialist assistants. Throughout the years, a number of computer systems were created to meet the needs of OPMC. As time went on and technologies changed, the systems were unable to be maintained and enhanced to continue to meet the business needs. A prior initiative has identified the high-level Business Use Cases and requirements for a newly designed system. OPMC is now at a point where additional teams are required to begin the development of the new system.
Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
PART A: The ONE MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:E
You must be an Expert Developer / Oracle, Java with documented employment experience of 7+ years (84+ months).
- You must have experience with analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions.
- You must be able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
PART B: Requested Desirable Qualifications: The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 4 of numbers 1 through 7.
84 Months Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) in designing and implementing Information Technology Solutions using the Java programming language.
