Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

CAI is looking to hire an Account Manager for our client to assist with the following:


Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of onshore (9) and offshore (9) resources in supporting client applications for a large investment

Provide private markets financial services expertise and insights

Assist in providing advisory services, strategic planning activities and business case development within financial services and across internal organizations.

Work with the team on Agile stories and estimates

Provides technical oversight for technical estimates created with standards tools, agile, portfolio Work Breakdown Structures, statements of work and industry standard estimating techniques.

Understand complete solutions using appropriate financial services frameworks, offerings with design elements that allow integration into client environment.

Work on, and resolve, any personnel issues that arise

Be comfortable working with clients at two locations: Chicago and New York

Direct the team on support, projects, enhancement, maintenance and work request activities

Adheres to and promotes appropriate client design processes, architectural artifact requirements, and architectural best practices.

Maintains knowledge of key artifacts, technologies, industry trends, standards, and design techniques.

Works with client stakeholders to evaluate solution requirements and supports the management and traceability of requirements during the engagement

Work with engagement team on demand management to provide key services

Provides project oversight and tracks progress, metrics and reports on the results.

Create monthly reports on work completed, issues, failures and items needing attention.

Interface to all levels of the client’s organization on solution implementation progress, technical issues, proper practices, and technical requirements.

Collaborates with business analyst peers to efficiently resolve design issues, improve design quality and share high quality information, as well as to define enterprise level solutions, best practices, and processes.

May assign and review tasks, mentor junior team members, manage performance feedback, and create development plans consistent with performing the role of team leader or project manager



Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant IT implementation experience
  • Significant exposure to clients across a variety of industries and domains
  • Has a broad understanding of technology solutions and is able to work with multiple team and CAI’s own team members to develop solutions.
  • Has a broad understanding of technology areas such as Application Development (multi-tier, Web, and / or Mobile), Server Operating Systems, Database / Information Management, Application / Data Security, Application Platforms, Application Integration, Enterprise Content Management, Mobility Solutions, Agile Development, and Social Computing.


  • Strong communications skills with the ability to interface with all levels of internal and client project teams.
  • Implementation and experience in related project roles such as system analyst, developer, implementer, integrator, test analyst, team leader and/or software architect
  • Knowledgeable on project management concepts including project scheduling, risk management, estimation, Work Breakdown Structures, requirements management / traceability, Change Management, etc.
