CAI is looking for a Mobile Developer to join our team in Harrisburg, PA.


In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying cross-platform mobile applications, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. You will work closely with customers and Software Architects to design solutions that satisfy both business and technical requirements while employing best practices. Day to day duties include:


  1. Develops and documents detailed mobile solution architectures.
  2. Integrates with mobile middleware as needed
  3. Designs, develops and integrates Restful APIs & Web Services.
  4. Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
  5. Publishes applications to iTunes Store and Google Play, as appropriate.
  6. Provides technical consultation and estimates in response to customer inquiries for product enhancements, new product development and external projects. 
  7. Provides guidance on mobile best practices and policies.
  8. Promote knowledge and skills of mobile development to other developers in the delivery center.

Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field and 3+ years mobile development experience.

Technical Skills - Required: 

  • Solid .NET framework development experience (C#, XAML)
  • Practical experience using RESTful APIs, preferably ASP.NET Web API
  • Practical experience with mobile technologies, frameworks and cross-platform mobile applications with Xamarin
  • Familiarity with the iOS and Android SDKs
  • Familiarity with Java, Objective-C and platform specific development environments, such as Eclipse and XCode.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs common to mobile development
  • Practical experience with mobile-friendly relational database technologies, preferably SQLite
  • Ability to design and develop intuitive user-interfaces
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Ability to build prototypes for research and early testing
  • Practical experience with object-oriented design and analysis
  • Solid understanding of best practices for UX/UI design
  • Practical experience with multi-tier software design and development
  • Solid understanding of TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  • Solid understanding of enterprise design patterns
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies, both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
