Technical Lead for Data Team


Scope of Position


CAI is archiving a current JDE system.  The team will be looking at pertinent data and deciding what data should be relocating to the new system.  This person will provide leadership to the team.  The Technical Lead will provide technical leadership for a team of technical consultants, data analysts, data modeler, DBA, and ETL developers on archiving project. Project management will be provided by other team member



  • Experience with architecting data warehouse solutions required

o   Define, design, and develop relational and/or multi-dimensional databases for warehousing of data.

o   Create data dictionary for source and target databases

o   Analyze existing data structure for integrity and cleanliness

o   Create target data warehouse solution based on business requirements

o   Design (with assistance) the infrastructure needed for the data warehouse solution

o   Create the database structures, data relationships, triggers and events needed to support the new solution

  • Experience with data archiving projects preferred
  • Required technology experience: SQL Server, ERWIN
  • Preferred technology experience: iSeries (AS/400), DB2 on AS/400 , JD Edwards, SSIS, SSRS
