Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications for our client contracts. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Responsible for the design, coding, testing, documenting, and maintaining various applications. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analyze custom configurations as well as shared components to make changes in software using Java, CSS, HTML PLSQL and SQL
  • Partner with end-users and technical staff to diagnose and resolve problems relating to a variety of processes.
  • Contribute to internal tools/reports that improve support of both internal and external customers.
  • Resolve support requests within Service Level Agreement time frames.
  • Assess and triage issues. Escalate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Deliver defect-free enhancements that are compliant with industry and application best practices.
  • Deliver enhancements following Computer Aid’s work request process: Gather requirements, design, build, test, and migrate.
  • Use Computer Aid’s metric based methodology and tools perform analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues.
  • Problem-solving; Tackle challenging issues/bugs.
  • Track and catalog issues and projects in Computer Aid’s ticket management system.
  • Work on exciting projects in all project phases.
  • Gather, document, and manage the business and technical requirements.
  • Performs testing - software testing including test case development, system testing and user acceptance testing support.

Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of three years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or similar occupation. 


Special Requirements:

Qualifying three years’ experience must have included previous work with designing, coding and testing software programs, along with business analyst type functions.


At least two years of experience is also needed with Java, CSS, HTML, and SQL.


All individuals will also be subject to CAI’s pre-employment screening process, post offer, which consists of a background check and drug screen.
