Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

Project Manager/BA


Under the direction of the Executive Director Systems Development, s/he will serve as a Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM /BA) within the Bureau of Information Technology (BIST) in the Office of the Comptroller.


The PM/BA will support the Bureau of Accountancy Accounting performing the following activities;

  • Review and update business requirements as needed.
  • Review revised functional specifications with business owners for their approval.
  • Review and update technical design documents with BIST and key business stakeholders for final approval.
  • Review and update detail design document with BIST and key business stakeholders for final approval.
  • Investigate and resolve software issues and defects reported by business users and others. Work with technical analysts to research problems and find and implement solutions.
  • Track overall project status for key business stakeholders by participating in weekly meetings, identifying issues, identifying risks and tracking overall timelined for each phase of the project.

Additional skills:


  • Create, review and update test plans that ensure appropriate functions, features and scenarios are exercised for new application function and enhancements.
  • Develop and/or assist in developing functional test scripts and business use cases.
  • Define, and/or assist in defining of data /system set-up requirements for testing.
  • Conduct quality reviews during test development (i.e., test cases cover requirements and meet standards for format and content);
  • Test code fixes and change requests after the software has been released for regression testing and User Acceptance Testing.
