Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI) has an immediate need for a Technical Analyst / Support Liaison supporting Multi Functional Printing Devices. This position is located in the Harrisburg area.  This role is with a federal defense client, therefore requires a current security clearance.

 

Day to day duties include:

  • Communicating directly with internal management and customer management to relay technical information in layman's terms.
  • General Print Server support, monitor and patching
  • Monitor upgrades and patches made available to ensure IA and security compliance
  • Support helpdesk by elevating issues for vendor support.
  • Update MFD (MFP) configuration manuals. (currently 40 models are supported) and assist in creating new configuration manuals.
  • Assist in researching solutions for printer technical issues.
  • Working with vendors to ensure security compliance. 

 

Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

In order to be successful in this role, you should have the following skills/experience:

  • Current security clearance 
  • Understanding of DOD STIG methodology
  • Understanding of ports and protocols
  • Knowledge of MFDs (MFPs) helpful
  • Experience working with vendors in a technical support function
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good organizational abilities
