Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

ServiceNow Software Developer will develop and maintain the long term vision of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This resource will provide key technical insight in designing and supporting ServiceNow applications while aligning to Service Management best practices. The responsibilities will vary from development of new ServiceNow solutions as well as day-to-day support of ServiceNow.


  • Customize the service catalog homepage to meet the requirements.
  • Create new categories and catalog items according to the client requirements
  • Design themes and Content layouts using CSS
  • Maintain Service Catalog as a fully functional website using Content management Module
  • Create User Interface Pages.
  • Test, analyze, collaborate and assist with translating business requirements into technical requirements to ensure a smooth implementation of applications or modules.
  • Understand technical requirements and design workflows
  • Work on Client side and Server side scripting according to the client requirements
  • Configuration of Email Notification and Email Integration
  • Designing and creation of reports
  • Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, SOAP)
  • Maintain order item link based on catalog items
  • Maintain of fulfillment plan, execution plan and content items
  • Responsible for Bug Fixes and new Enhancements for currently implemented applications such as  Service Catalog and Service Level Management
  • Maintain the User Interface and Configured the Asset Management application to support ITIL and business processes
  • Work with process owners to develop and implement workflow with approvals
  • Utilize Java Scripting to deliver solutions that automate and audit business processes using UI Policy, Client Script, UI Action and Business Rules
  • Capture and move customizations between systems using Update Sets
  • Updates & maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for Service-now related development and enhancements
  • Optimize and monitor system performance and provide system statistics and reports to the Business


Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of five years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst, Software Developer, Engineer, or similar occupation. 


Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration and/or development of the ServiceNow application. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in ServiceNow configuration in creating/extending tables, designing/maintaining workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, notifications, report set up, and data imports. Also required is 3 years’ of experience working in JavaScript and 2 years’ of experience configuring LDAP, SOAP or SSO.


Additionally, at least 1 year experience with CSS is required, along with past proven experience of collecting and documenting client requirements.
