    SRE Engineer

    The candidate will provide development and operational support of software application solutions. In this role you will interface and support customers, develop software and applications for managing their application infrastructure, and deployment of new applications and application instances.


    You will be involved in design and development of software interfaces, gathering statistics, collecting
    and analyzing all relevant data. You will define and develop functionality, security, performance and
    reliability of the system.


    ● Advanced experience in the architecture and design of complex business process solutions using
    BPM technologies
    ● Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution
    architecture and design specifications
    ● Develop work breakdown structures and associated task level information and work assignment
    for incorporation into project plans and work structures
    ● Develop strong business relationships with clients
    ● Experience specifying and designing DevOps pipelines
    ● Lead and manage developers in the delivery of microservices and microservices-based solutions
    ● Drive the specification of architecture and design patterns for microservices architecture and
    microservices-based solutions
    ● Define standards to guide architecture solution decisions for microservices solutions
    ● Experience in leading and implementing technology prototypes, proof of concepts, and
    reference implementations for new technologies
    ● Ability to work closely with other Solution Architecture/Designers to ensure consistency and
    quality of solutions
    ● Continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances


    Technical knowledge/skills
    ● Experience in architecting cloud solutions with one or more of the following - AWS, Azure,
    Google Engine, Digital Ocean
    ● Strong understanding of network and data center architecture, as well as application
    development methodologies
    ● Experience with Linux platforms including CentOS, Ubuntu Redhat Enterprise Linux or Fedora
    ● Hands-on experience architecture, designing and implementing microservices solutions utilizing
    container-based technologies including Docker, Swarm, Compose and Kubernetes
    ● Experience with API tools such as CentraSite, Mashery, Apigee and DataPower
    ● Experience with CI and CD tools including git and Jenkins,
    ● Experience with infrastructure build automation technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible,
    Terraform, Packer, vagrant
    ● Advanced Experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)/ESB (Enterprise Service Bus)
    ● Intermediate knowledge of database platforms including RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL and
    SQLServer and NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB)
    ● Experience specifying and designing DevOps pipelines
    ● Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language including Java, Python, node.js


    General knowledge/skills
    ● Project management experience utilizing agile-based methodologies including Scrum and
    Extreme Programming
    ● Strong strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to
    design IT systems to delivery to that strategy
    ● Strong ability to develop solution architecture designs
    ● Strong ability to define multiple solution options to business problems and conduct appropriate
    ● Strong conceptual and analytical skills
    ● Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers
    ● Strong ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of


    ● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
    ● Implementation experience with demonstrated integration expertise in several business and
    technical verticals
