    Computer Aid Inc. (CAI) is a $600M global IT consulting firm that specializes in high value, long term engagements with our clients.  We are currently looking for a Technical Lead for a Mobile Development Team to be an integral part of an Agile team for one of our strategic accounts. 

     

    This position requires experience in developing mobile applications (IOS and Android) and leading a team of developers in a fully Agile environment.  Hands on work to produce architectural and technical deliverables.  Looking for a seasoned leader and expert in mobile development who has participated in projects within large multi-billion dollar enterprises.  Must be able to take the lead from a planning, architecture, resource allocation/management perspective and will be accountable to meet planned schedules and estimates provided by the team.  Excellent communication skills, fast learner and flexibility to work in a fast paced, high velocity Agile environment.

    Responsibilities:

     

    The Mobile Tech Lead will work the Product Owner and Engineering Lead to understand the product roadmaps, priorities, architectures and estimate/plan sprints with the team.  Participate in daily/weekly/quarterly Scrum ceremonies.  Work with the team to identify and implement innovative solutions to meet the demand. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are a must. 

     

    The Mobile Tech Lead will manage a team of 4-8 mobile developers both on and offshore.  Manage the team to KPIs and be responsible to ensure daily updates.  Inspire the team to perform at the highest levels.  Follow coding standards and best practices and where none exist, recommend to ensure high quality code.  Code should appear as if written by same person vs. separate team members.

    Required Skills & Experience

     

    • 5+ years mobile development experience (Android & IOS)
    • Previous tech lead experience required
    • Test Driven Development
    • Android Studio
    • 3+ years of experience in an Agile working environment
    • Cloud experience (preferably AWS)
    • Automated Deployment experience
    • Experience with backend system integration
    • Experience working in large multi-billion dollar enterprises
    • Hospitality experience preferred
    • Experience with estimating, planning, quality and delivery oversight in an Agile team – Slack, Jira, Confluence all preferred
    • Experience managing offshore teams
    • Ability to facilitate multi-team working sessions and lead the discussion
    • Team player who can work with multiple stakeholders, technical teams and independently as needed
    • Takes the initiative to learn and find innovative solutions
    • Flexible to manage a rapidly changing environment
    • Excellent oral and written communications required
