    Computer Aid, incorporated, a leader in IT services and solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced Salesforce Developer with one of its major Public Sector clients in Albany, NY.

     

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

     

    The Salesforce Developer will use innovative technologies to improve the State’s energy, economic, and environmental wellbeing.  This position is located in Albany, NY.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Continuing customization and development of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Apex Classes, Visualforce Pages, triggers, etc.
    • Working with management, business SME's and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
    • Manage Integrations with PeopleSoft and SQL Server Data Warehouse.
    • Configuring user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules and security.
    • Ongoing documentation.
    • Communicate and apply future Salesforce releases and enhancements.
    • Provide help and support for internal and external users.
    • Produce the following deliverables:
      • Technical Design Documentation
      • Test Plans
      • Tested APEX code and Visualforce pages

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    • 2-4 years’ experience developing directly on Salesforce/force.com products using APEX, Visualforce and SOQL.
    • Experience with DBAmp.
    • Experience with web services (SOAP or REST).
    • HTML, JQuery and CSS experience.
    • Experience managing production updates/releases.
    • Understanding of relational databases and data integration tool.
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
    • Salesforce Certified Developer a plus.
