    CAI is looking for an IT professional in  in the Kutztown, pa. area.  This is a long term position.

    The person will be doing IT Support and Scheduling, they must be comfortable on the Hardware side of IT.



    Candidates local to Kutztown preferred.




    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Schedule and coordinate flow of work within and between departments to expedited work.
    • Review the master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific clients, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
    • Confrere with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in process.
    • Compile reports on progress of work to inform management.
    • Purchase and inventory management for the Voice and Data Systems department.
    • Maintain backlog files of work orders.
    • Maintain appropriate records and files.
    • Ordering of any parts for major projects on breakdown work is also completed on a regular basis.
    • Entering data for work orders.


    The qualified candidate should possess:

    • Technical Degree in computer science or related experience
    • Interpersonal communication skills
    • Problem solving, highly organized
    • High-level user experience with applications and network listed in job procedure section of this document.
    • Adequate craft knowledge to estimate man-hours, and materials and to visualize the job to be performed.
    • Should have good oral/written skills and possess tact.
    • Good administrative and mathematical skills with willingness to handle paperwork.
    • Have good planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to understand what constitutes good instructions.
    • Ability to keep multiple jobs in controlled motion – simultaneously.
    • Understanding of the proper use of work orders, priorities, scheduling, etc.
    • Orientation and commitment to customer service.
    • Style and capability commanding respect within both ITS and operations.
