    Project Coordinator

    Immediate Need

    Pittsburgh, PA

    Duration: 3-4 mos (immediate need- could go longer)

     

    The Project Coordinator provides IT support for enterprise-wide projects relating to software and network infrastructure initiatives. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting with project documents and presentations, maintaining project financial information, submitting, tracking and receiving purchase orders and providing support by creating, maintaining and distributing miscellaneous project documents. The Project Coordinator develops and publishes project deliverables, project budgets and various reports. The Project Coordinator responds to requests for project status/budgets, and assists with special reporting requirements for IT oversight and other mandates. This individual also documents project scope and contents.

     

    • Update project schedules
    • Assist in presentation preparation
    • Validates and ensures project related finances are accurate and current
    • Assist with IT Project Management tracking and reporting requirements utilizing Clarity PM tool
    • Propose continuous improvement and solutions to identified gaps and obstacles in current project initiation and reporting processes
    • Utilize Resource Program Management systems for project time coding and to ensure compliance with IT Oversight policies
    • Assist with any special reporting requirements
    • Assist PM’s with project budgets

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1.) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Visio, and Project

    2.) Strong organization and attention to detail skills

    3.) Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1.) Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in IT field

    2.) 2+ years of professional working experience, does not have to be within an IT capacity
