    IT Team Manager position

    Location: Pittsburgh

    Duration: Long term


    This person will be managing a team that focuses on Front End Development initiatives.  While this person does not need to be technical, having any experience with front end or UI is considered a plus.


    • 5-10 years project management experience
    • Familiarity with web development conventions (e.g. responsive web design, HTML, CSS, and web application frameworks, CMS, integration with internal and 3rd party data via APIs) is considered a plus
    • Ability to effectively collaborate between departments or serve as a team liaison and drive results
    • Experienced managing Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality
    • He/she will facilitate the successful definition and delivery of projects.
    • Will be responsible for managing one or more projects within the constraint of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction.
    • Implement projects and support those day-to-day activities within the specified business area.
    • Manage multiple priorities on an on-going basis, to include, but not limited to: project budgeting and time estimates; managing exempt employees and contractors; project scope and definition; gathering and documenting requirements; and resource and contingency planning.
    • Certification or training in Project Management preferred
    • Must be goal oriented and action-focused. Must have exemplary leadership skills.
