    Project Manager: Entry Level

    Work Location: Great Lakes Works- Ecorse, MI

    Duration: 12 months

     

    We are seeking a Project Manager.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Heavily involved in managing reports
    • Track performance of divisions
    • Organize, manage and lead cross-functional teams (Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, Safety, etc.)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project
    • SharePoint experience is a plus
    • Experience with Oracle E-Business suite, Tableau and Ares Prism
    • Willing to challenge the status quo
    • Must be able to adapt to change
    • Travel as needed to USS facilities
    • Bachelor's degree; engineering or business preferred
    • 2-5 years of manufacturing experience
    • Experience in project management
    • Tactical role
    • Steel manufacturing operations and maintenance experience desired
    • CAMP or PMP Certification a plus
    • More of an entry level role
    • Possible temp to perm role

                    ○ Project management experience and knowledge

    • Steel, manufacturing or construction management background

     

    Interview structure:

    • Phone interviews to start (45 min-1 hr) behavioral interviews
    • Followed by a 6-7 hour in-person interview with multiple people and a plant tour
