Design, develop, and support ETL processes using Informatica and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) tools.
Review and analyze business data requirements for data warehousing projects, applications, and Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects (BO) Reporting Systems. Review and analyze Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) requirements for database, application, and reporting projects.
Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing business application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity.
The incumbent must be capable of working at a broad technical level in all phases of the application systems project life-cycle, and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems developmen
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of ETL concepts especially as applied to Informatica and SSIS.
Strong knowledge of data analysis, data transformation, conceptual data modeling, data transformation and metadata management.
Strong knowledge of data design for various applications.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Good knowledge of various RDBMS, Mainframe
Good knowledge of Project Life Cycles methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Unix and Unix Shell scripting
Experience with Enterprise Scheduling tools such as Control-M is a plus
