  • Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

    Computer Aid has an opportunity on our Business Operations Team.  We are looking for an Business Operations Analyst to join our Chicago office. In this role you will:

     

    1. Prepare monthly analysis of financial reports for operating divisions and cost centers, including trend analysis and spending/revenue patterns
    2. Assess monthly financials for discrepancies and error reporting
    3. Prepare monthly forecasts for operating divisions and cost centers
    4. Prepare ad hoc reports to support management in financial decision making
    5. Prepare cost models for proposals to win new business/pricing strategies for staff augmentation bids
    6. Provide payroll documentation for salary and bonus payouts
    7. Prepare financial reports for Return on Investment, and other decision support models
    8. Understand the business operations of divisions and cost centers to provide business support
    9. Assist divisions and cost centers in creating new project structures to allow associates and subcontractor personnel to report time and expenses
    10. Assist in customer invoice preparation
    11. Reading/analyzing RFP’s for new project bids – finding costs that could affect profit margins

    The Business Operations Analyst provides leadership and expertise in operational and financial support for a defined territory.  Works directly with the EVP (Executive VP), account managers, sales associates, and corporate staff to effectively support the territory’s needs. Creativity and independent decision making are required.

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Experience/Education: 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred
    • 5 - 10 years of related experience
    • Experienced with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with WorkDay is highly preferred

    Skills - Required: 

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel
    • Ability to develop presentations and MS Word documents
    • Ability to understand  and work with Pivot tables
    • Ability to understand financial statements
