    Application Developer in Pittsburg, PA

    7:30 to 4 – Mon thru Fri

    Description:

    • Support the legacy systems in place at our plants.
    • Support various legacy systems related to incentives.
    • As part of an effort to move away from Software AG products, analyze existing Natural programs and remediate these programs.
    • Develop code in COBOL to support of improve all applications being supported.
    • Thoroughly test and document code changes per our defined quality process
    • Identify areas for improvement within all applications being supported.

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Bachelors + 2-4 years experience.

     

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

     

    • Candidate would need experience in:
      1. Cobol Programming
      2. Relational Databases (ADABAS and DB2 preferred)
      3. IMS Database
      4. CICS
      5. JCL

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

     

    • Candidate would need:
      1. Good communication skills
      2. The ability to work in a virtual team environment
      3. Self motivated
      4. Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis skills
      5. Planning and Organizational skills

    TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

     

    • Candidate would need:
      1. Cobol Programming
      2. CICS
      3. Experience with IMS and DB2
