    Computer Aid Inc. (CAI) is a $500M global IT consulting firm that specializes in high value, long term managed services engagements with our clients.  We are currently looking for an Sr. QA Analyst for one of our strategic accounts.  This position is a full-time, internal CAI position with great benefits.

    • Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan & test scripts, including automation; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with legacy and external systems.

    • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of scope, business and technical complexity and rules to deliver comprehensive and quality solutions.

    • Backend database testing using Microsoft SQL (must have strong SQL skills)to ensure that the result sets accurately represents the expected outcome.

    • Development of test, reporting and communication strategy

    • Communicate effectively time estimations, project dependencies and potential impacts to timelines.

    • Build out test case and test scripts based on requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.

    • Develop, document and maintain test scripts and other test artifacts like business use cases, test data, data validation, expected result and repeatable test scripts to QA complex business rules, reporting deliverables and data transformation.

    • Execute and evaluate test results and report on the outcome.

    • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.

    • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.

    • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

    • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

    • Daily Status Reporting to Implementation Manger

    • Align with overarching data governance policies/guidelines

    • Identify and ensure the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.

    • Develop and enforce methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy

    • Preferred:  Experience testing data migration/conversion projects

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of IT Quality Assurance experience 

    • Deep knowledge of and experience with a wide range of software test engineering concepts: testing principles and concepts, building a test environment, tracking defects and making corrections, and assessing testing status; tester’s role in software development and acquisition, risk analysis, and acceptance testing; test management, planning processes, design, automation, performance and reporting.

    • Experience working within defect issue reporting tools

    • SDLC required

    • Experience with Selenium Webdriver

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    • Able to work independently and to adjust to changing priorities.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Thorough knowledge of information technology quality assurance concepts and techniques, including extensive experience with various automation and reporting tools like HP Quality Center

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably In Computer Science or relevant experience
