    Computer Aid Inc. (CAI) is a $600M global IT consulting firm that specializes in high value, long term managed services engagements with our clients.  We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer/Technical Lead for one of our strategic accounts in South Florida who will come in and help assess the current state of build/deployment manual processes and make recommendations on tools, processes to transition to an automated DevOps environment.  The selected candidate will have the leadership skills to assess and recommend and will have the technical skills to lead the implementation of the selected technical solution and will be a part of an exciting team that is leading this organization in a major technology transformation.

     

    Responsibilities include:  

    • Understanding SDLC and automating with DevOps practices
    • Collaborate with infrastructure, application and QA teams to understand current processes
    • Recommend best practices and technology solutions for DevOps
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
    • Ability to communicate progress and strategy to other technical teams
    • Work with project management and leadership to develop schedules, estimates and deliver according to plan
    • Be a team player, working as part of a major transformation team
    • Be able to work independently with high level direction
    • Follow specifications and architecture plans

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Skills required:

     

    • Microsoft shop – must have .Net development and DevOps implementation background
    • 5 years of DevOps experience – as a developer, technical engineer, team lead or technical lead
    • Scripting language (such as Ansible)
    • Experience with COTS, 3rd party packages and implementing DevOps for them
    • Experience with containerization
    • Strong communication skills and leadership skills
    • Experience assessing and recommending DevOps solutions
    • BS in Computer Science or other related major required
    • There is no DevOps today – it’s all manual, so candidate must have experience going from manual to DevOps.
