    CAI is seeking multiple Quality Assurance Analysts in Allentown, PA.

     

    This is a long term opening that includes an hourly rate, 401k, and full medical benefits. 

     

    In 2013, Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI) launched their Autism 2Work Program with a strategic mission of helping the underemployment of many affected with ASD (Autism Spectrum) that are looking for opportunities where they can do more, learn more and develop a career in Information Technology.

     

    This ground-breaking Initiative employs IT professionals that have been affected by Autism. In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have a diagnosis which is on the Autism Spectrum.

     

     

    * This position includes an 8-day Preparation Training Session that leads to a potential job assignment.

     

     

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Only those applicants who meet the minimum requirements for CAI's Autism2Work Program will be considered.

     

    Diagnosis within ASD or self-disclosure.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform the duties of a Quality Assurance Analyst, following an AGILE Software Development Life Cycle
    • Analysis of Business Requirements, User Stories, Technical and Functional Specifications
    • Development of Manual & Automated Test Scripts
    • Execution of Manual & Automated Test Scripts
    • Troubleshooting, Defect Identification and Resolution
    • Accurate and Timely Communication with teammates and various levels of Management
    • Attend all design walkthrough's related to the end to end workflow and review all documentation
    • Work closely with technology partners to identify, prioritize and automate the testing various functionalities
    • Communicate on status of activities assigned

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • 1 year of experience in testing web applications
    • 1 year of experience in test automation.
    • 1 year of Quality Analyst work experience with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing of web applications.
    • Experience/understanding of business requirements and priorities.
    • Strong analytical skills, writing skills and solid experience in documenting testing artefacts such as Test plans, Test scripts and Test execution reports.
    • Ability to design and document complex system workflows using requirement coverage of test cases  
    • Ability to strategize test cases and integrate into the wider end to end regression  
    • Experience in executing the regression test suite and troubleshoot issues and identify issues / defects
    • Ensure defects are raised, recorded with quality and managed to resolution.
    • Expertise on Selenium; Experience on Cucumber, and/or other automation based software tools.
    • Ensure scripts can be run efficiently and designed to be easily maintainable through parameterization and configuration 
    • Proficient in using SQL, ALM/ JIRA, tools for maintaining test artefacts.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft products; Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint. 
    • Able to work with a team, as well as independently, to meet target dates.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

     

    • Required Education:

      • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent skills/work experience.
      • (A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is preferred, but not required)
