  • Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

    The ServiceNow Software Developer will work with our various customers in implementing their ServiceNow processes. This resource will provide key technical insight in interacting daily within ServiceNow to manage customer incidents and requests related to the building and implementation of ServiceNow applications, modules, etc. The responsibilities will vary from development of new ServiceNow solutions as well as day-to-day support of ServiceNow.


    Core Responsibilities:

    • Deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the ServiceNow Platform, Core System, and Applications.
    • Perform discovery work sessions to determine the solution requirements and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc.
    • Implement workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations
    • Apply Agile software development practices for customizations to the platform and applications
    • Implement the Core System including integration components (LDAP, MID Server, etc.)
    • Organizing and prioritizing development effort, interfacing with vendors and management, and potentially coordinating effort of additional administrators
    • Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.)
    • Consider dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable
    • Effectively manage and execute high level tasks assigned via ‘stories’
    • Assists junior analysts through project(s) lifecycles
    • Manages work against an often demanding timeline
    • Communicates professionally and effectively, through verbal and non-verbal methods with business professionals and clients daily
    • Flexible and has the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Interface with ServiceNow technical teams, such as Cloud Infrastructure, to successfully set up the SaaS platform
    • Programming with web based languages, such as JavaScript, Jelly script, XML, HTML, CSS

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of five years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar occupation.


    Special Requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting the implementation, customization, maintenance, configuration and/or development of the ServiceNow application. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in ServiceNow configuration with LDAP, SSO, ITIL, working in JavaScript, Jelly Script, HTML, and CSS is required.
