  • Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

    The Contract Manager operates as the primary point of contact between Public Sector clients and IT Staffing Vendors. The ideal caniddate will work onsite, providing comprehensive staffing support services through CAI’s MSP (managed service provider).  They will be responsible for managing processes associated with qualifying IT staffing requirements, vendor candidate screening, engagement management, on-boarding, and addressing resource or budget issues for public sector IT Staff Augmentation openings.  The Contract Manager will also work closely with the Supplier community to answer questions, ensure compliance, and address any engaged resource issues.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Interact and communicate directly with state agency hiring managers via phone; email and in person meetings to understand the client’s business initiatives; build relationships; gather and qualify requirements; assist with developing job descriptions; reporting needs; and identifying cost-savings opportunities
    • Responsible for resume screening; forwarding qualified candidates to the client; coordinating interviews; and onboarding
    • Track engaged resource hours and budgets
    • Provide VMS (Vendor Management System) training and daily support to the client
    • Manage to contractual service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Provide vendor response management, training, and performance oversight services
    • Communicate effectively to all levels of management
    • Resolve issues in a timely manner

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Requirements:

    • 7+ Years of successful, recent IT staffing or contract/vendor management experience
    • Experience interfacing directly with client staff and management
    • Experience serving government organizations is highly recommended
    • Professional, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently
    • Must have a high sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to maintain client relationships and meet service goals and deadlines 
    • Maintain the respect of the client’s culture, environment, facilities, policies and their employees
    • Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of the IT industry and markets demands
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred Skills

    • Previous experience using Peoplefluent, or another VMS tool
    • Prior MSP/VMS Contract Management experience is helpful

    Required Education

    • Bachelors Degree
