  • QA analyst

    Location US-MA-Norwood
    Employment Type
    Permanent
  • Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

CAI is looking for a QA analyst in the Norwood, Mass. area.

Ideal candidate has 2-5 years of QA experience and needs someone who can interface with our development team....communication skills very important.

Translation of Requirements ability is also needed.

Flex hours are a possibility also as this person would need to be able to work some nights (from home), interacting with our QA team in the Philippines...mainly on conference calls.

The Philippines team  develops and runs test scripts and communicate results back to the development teams here.  The person here would be involved in answering questions from the development teams regarding testing results.

Hours do not have to be 9-5.

This is a long term position, benefits would be included if needed.

    Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    • 2-4 Years QA experience, especially with web based systems.
    • Wants to be a QA person, not using this as a way to move into a development role
    • Ability to write and understand test scripts
    • Good communication skills – Will be interfacing between developers and the QA team manager in the Philippines
    • Self-starter able to work independently.  The QA team is half a world away
    • Willing to work a shift that includes 1-2 hours per night on the phone with the Philippines.  Overall 8 hour a day job.  Be in Norwood during a significant part of the US business day to interface with development teams.  Then talking with the Philippines team after hours (e.g. 8:30-10:30PM Eastern time).  Not 2 hours every night but probably some contact every night.
    • Any experience with QA automation is a nice plus, but not a requirement
