  • Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor)

    Computer Aid Inc.     Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor)

    Must have:

    • SQL Server - Must be able to write queries
    • Basic network/firewall understanding
    • Basic integration understanding
    • Understanding TV
    • Experience in supporting packaged applications.
    • Experience with ITV systems, Digital Signage, SQL, IIS, .Net, Apple
    • Analytical skills
    • 2-3 years of field experience

    Nice to have:

    • Broadcasting experience a Plus
    • RF technology, COX
    • Some PM experience
    • Cruise or Hotel experience a plus, new hotel build is great
    • Experience with MS BizTalk and TIBCO
    •  

    Job Description:

    • Production support (Tier 3) of shipboard Interactive Television system and Digital Signage
    • Resource will be assigned as resource for shipboard projects (upgrades, NewBuilds, enhancements, lab build-out)
    • Responsible of System Integration Testing
    • Participate and support User Acceptance Testing
    • Test and certify version updates received from system vendor
    • Production support for other shipboard systems/applications
    • Maintenance and general ownership of application (roadmaps, analyze trends in support, etc.)

    Education:

    • Degree in Computer Science or similar

    Travel Required:

    • 30% travel required for shipboard projects/support and maximum hours worked while on the ship will be 50 hours which you are compensated for.

    Business Hours:

    • Normal business hours are 9 am - 6 pm M-F. All candidates must be available to work those hours. Some weekend and overtime work may be required.
